When I first downloaded Bible Code I was a little uncertain what the game tries to do. I have to say that even playing the title is a challenge, because you don’t really get a proper tutorial to explain things, but you do get the hang of it as you go along.
So, what is Bible Code? This is a game that focuses a lot on showing us texts from the Bible that we need to uncover in order to solve a variety of cypher based puzzles. It might sound a little crazy, but the game does have a lot of charisma and I have to say that it does wonders in this regard. On the other hand, things easily get hectic as you play, but uncovering secrets found in the Bible is one adventure you do want to take.
At its core, the game comes with two difficulty levels and hundreds upon hundreds of puzzles that you want to uncover.
And, as if that was not enough to begin with, the game does a great job when it comes to allowing you to beat your own score since it includes online leaderboards.
You do get the option to acquire in-app purchase for more hints, but on its own the game does a very good job in showing us the multiple possibilities that a universe with many puzzles has to offer. I specifically like the way the cypher puzzles are handled here, and the results are great.
Of course, the downside is that the game is very hard to begin with, and the lack of a good introduction might make it hard to get into.
Still, if you like games that challenge you, then Bible Code is a very interesting title to check out, and one that you will definitely enjoy playing right from the start.
